Created in the 1950s as a family-run company with its headquarters located in the Udine Fruit and Vegetable Market (MOF), the experience gained over the years soon made Cervellin Ortofrutticola a leader in the agri-food sector. The experience of a lifetime, combined with the passion for this activity, allowed the company to grow from a small company to become a large commercial enterprise over the course of seventy years, while always maintaining a direct relationship with reliable and efficient fruit and vegetable producers who, to date, have enabled it to satisfy all customer needs. Its offering ranges from seasonal fruits and vegetables to the first fruits, up to a wide range of exotic, organic, range IV and V products, all without ever losing sight of quality: all of the treatments provided are entirely natural, in order to ensure the best preservation of the product, which reaches the consumer's table fresh and genuine.
The imported merchandise is strictly controlled and stored in environments that fully comply with the HACCP directives and the meticulous application of the hygienic-sanitary self-control procedure pursuant to Legislative Decree 155/97. The company makes use of as many as seven warehouses, where there are many thermoregulated cold rooms, its offices, an external 800 square metre cold storage room, as well as the exhibition area where our qualified and competent staff in the sector works in order to meet to satisfy customer’s demands and needs, whether this be a small retailer looking for exclusive products, or a large merchant requesting significant amounts of periodical supplies.
Indeed, in addition to the historic department dedicated to wholesale sales, Ortofrutticola Cervellin has one department in its current structure that is dedicated to supplies for large-scale retail trade and one reserved for exports. The maximum efficiency of deliveries is guaranteed by 9 of its own lorries as well as by the support of outsourced logistics service providers, which ensure a seven-day-a-week distribution throughout the region.
